When people think of printing, they often think of paper. But, really, printing is about much more than paper. For years, people have been experimenting with different substrates, and things really got exciting when the industry started to explore what could be done with large format printing.

Large format printing, also referred to as wide format printing, has opened the creative doors of the marketing industry with its ability to print on materials up to 2 inches thick. That’s a game changer in our books!

Now that you know that there are basically no limitations to what you can print on, get creative! It’s no longer enough to be as good as your competition. These days, you have to stand out and be better than your competition in order to be noticed. Advancements made in the printing industry have given us the opportunity to do just that.

The next time you need to print something, instead of just focusing on paper, think of something interesting, like that worn down barn door down the street.  A large format printer can print on most anything up to 2 inches thick, take advantage of that and stand out. If it fits, it prints.
